Our Story
A Love Story
Steve and Melissa graduated high school together in 1991 but were both too shy too ever speak to each other. Years later, life brought them back together. Their first date was April 28, 2018 - and they never looked back. Steve moved from Bardstown, Kentucky to be with her, and on May 25, 2019, they were married in a pavilion Steve built himself, overlooking a tranquil pond on their farm.
Christian’s Legacy
Christian, Melissa’s oldest son, had a heart for family, for bringing people together, and for celebrating love. He had a smile that lit up every room and made everyone feel welcome. It was Christian who always encouraged Steve and Melissa to turn their farm into a wedding venue.
The Landing
After Christian’s passing, Steve & Melissa made a decision — they would honor his vision and build something beautiful in his memory. The pavilion Steve had built for their own wedding in 2019 became the foundation. After hosting several weddings there, they completed the reception barn in November 2025.
Christians Landing is more than a wedding venue. It is their ministry — serving couples on one of the most sacred days of their lives, honoring God through hospitality, and keeping Christian’s legacy alive. Every wedding celebrated here is a testament to his spirit and his love for family.
